The Beginning of the End

Bring it on third trimester...only 12 more weeks to go until our lives change forever! I had my 28 week check-up the other day and all looks well. The baby was curled up on my right side with his head down and his feet up towards my ribs. The results from my glucose screening test came back and I passed! (Yea...no 3 hour follow-up test)

The strangest thing happened the other day, I looked down and my stomach was uneven and hard on the right side, it was his little head. We could see it perfectly. Scott and I just laughed and laughed. It's going to be really strange when we start seeing a foot or knuckles on my belly.

I am leaving tomorrow for Oklahoma. Can't wait to see family and friends. I am really looking forward to my shower, thanks to everyone who have been working so hard putting it together.

*I just noticed the pictures are a little crooked, that's due to my husband talking on the phone and trying to take the pictures at the same time or maybe our apartment is really that uneven?!?!

Stylin' and Profilin'

We've received some pretty cute clothes for the little guy. Here are some of my favorites thus far:

"Doctor in Training" scrub set so he can be just like his dad. Thanks Mimi & Papa, we love it!

And of course this little onesie. Since he can't wear the wings, guess he'll just have to date them, haha! Thanks Aunt Tam, can't wait to wear it with some cute little silver blue pants! We also already have a date to wear this next August to Bid Day...Aunt Lindsey just doesn't know it yet.

Is It Really That Time?

Last week I received these in the mail:
Pre-registration documents for delivery!! Are we really that close?!?! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. Before we know it we'll get to meet our little boy.

In the meantime, I guess it's time to find a pediatrician.

Crib Time

Our crib finally came in this weekend! The original plan was to put it together when my parents are here in November, but naturally we were too anxious to wait two more months, I mean we had already waited 10 weeks since it was ordered.
As Scott was sweating trying to get the huge box up the stairs I was, of course, snapping pictures. I mean who knows one day we may want to relive a big cardboard box being pushed up a flight of stairs?!?! You never know.
Reading directions before beginning = genius idea!

Best quote of the day happened right after this piece went in to place- Scott: "Oh no, now where does that piece go?" (referring to the large piece in the left corner of the picture), Me: No words, just a look, Scott: "Oh yeah, that's the front", Me: Laughter

Wish us luck raising this baby. This could be interesting.

Bailey's not so sure about this baby thing, but I promised her they're going to be best friends!

Our bedding also came in this weekend, but we haven't gotten a mattress yet so I'll post those pictures soon. We're getting really excited...only 13 1/2 more weeks until we get to meet our baby boy.

Somebody, Please Stop Me

I can't stop eating sweets. All I want and all I think about is anything sweet. Cookies, cake, candy, pop; you name it, I want it. Now I wouldn't necessarily call this a craving since I was a sweet eater before I got pregnant, but now it's out of control! I made Scott drive to every gas station on Saturday to find a cherry vanilla Pepsi. We ended up back at the house 30 minutes later with no Pepsi and a cold pizza.

I think today I better go through the house and get rid of all the sweets, well that is right after I make homemade zucchini bread.
