You probably thought I was talking about the elections...nope, not here. Even though that does deserve a "what a night!". The night I'm referring to is the crazy crazy night around our house including fat lips and falling in toilets. Yes, that all happened in one night.
The Fat Lip
My back has started aching at night, so last night I asked Scott to rub it. Well as I was turning my "big mama" self over I nailed him in the lip with my elbow. Apparently I have a really pointy elbow because his lip starting gushing blood right away. It started swelling the second it broke skin, so I can't even imagine what it looks like today. Guess we could really play on this story that your crazy hormonal pregnant wife socked ya in the mouth? I'm thinking that makes for a way better story than she can't roll her big belly over and it requires all of her might just to switch positions/she's not coordinated at all. Lesson learned-stay out of my way.
The Toilet
I was probably on my 7th trip of the night in a pitch dark house when plop....yeah, my dear husband forgot to put the seat down. I don't think I have to explain this one. We were both laughing so hard tears were streaming out of our eyes. Lesson learned-ALWAYS put the seat down, especially when you have a pregnant wife that pees a million times a night.
So here's to a new day, hopefully we can make it through without any fat lips or wet bums.
