Thankful

It was hard to believe that this year was our first Thanksgiving home in 5 years. While we spent the last years with our Chicago and Cleveland "families", this year we enjoyed bouncing from house to house to see all of our family.

While our list of what we are thankful for extends for miles and miles, Scott and I both agree that this little guy is definitely at the top. He definitely brings more joy to our lives and a smile to our hearts than ever imaginable.

And because it's too funny not to share and the fact that this post was getting a little too weepy for me, I give you this:

Apparently Brett did NOT want his picture taken.

Random Thoughts

Today I was thinking back to this time last year and just realized how much has changed in 1 year. One thing that immediately came to mind:

My hair is now shorter.

Oh yeah, and I don't have a gigantic belly!

And then after seeing this picture, I rememberd how much snow we had last year and how weird it is that I didn't even wear a coat yesterday.

In conclusion some changes are awesome like not wearing maternity clothes and having a baby (err, uh, toddler) and some are not.... here's to wishing for a white Christmas!

Firs OU Game Day

We took Brett to his very first game day yesterday to cheer on the Sooners! He absolutely loved it. He ate hot dogs, took a little snooze, played with his Nerf football and even met Sooner!

We can't wait for many more gamedays with our little Sooner!

Let's Go Yellowjackets!

We took Brett to his first HS Football game the other night to watch the Kingfisher, Yellowjackets. It was Homecoming so they were recognizing Scott's class for their 10 year reunion and as a special treat, we got to watch our neice, Hannah, cheer at half-time.

All the boys

It sure was fun to go back to Scott's old stomping grounds. Brett had a great time, not necessarily watching the game, but definitely watching all the people.
