Just when I started bragging how Brett is never sick, I couldn't take back my words fast enough. It's been an awful week and a half now. After 4 doctors appointments, chest x-rays, blood drawn and many other tests, we have some answers...lower respiratory infection, bronchial infection, RSV which caused an ear infection and horrible cough with possible viral pneumonia. Poor baby is sick sick sick!

He was finally feeling a little better last night so I got some pictures of his new friends. At the hospital you get a stuffed animal for drawing blood and for any x-ray, so Brett came home with two new friends.

Thanks for keeping our little baby in your prayers!

Happy 2012!

We celebrated the beautiful New Year's Eve day by visiting the Myriad Gardens...if you haven't been you must check it out, they did a wonderful job redoing the whole area. I was in awe that we were outside on January 31st, playing in the park with no coats. This was a huge change for us since the last 5 years it's been about -10 degrees.

That evening we had a wonderful dinner with great friends.

Brett loved every bit of it and even stayed up until 10:30. He was dancing up a storm! It was truly a perfect New Years Eve.

Best Christmas Yet

As promised, a very late Christmas post. We had a wonderful Christmas...our first Christmas with our baby boy. It was so much fun watching him open presents, he wasn't so sure about the boxes, but loved the sacks! He loved them so much we often found them opening others presents while we weren't watching

We had the pleasure of listening to him serenade us with his rendetion "Santa Clause is Coming to Town".
