Good-bye DePaul, Hello Unemployment

Today is my last day at DePaul, since we're moving to Cleveland, OH for Scott's residency. DePaul has been a great place to work. Everyone has been so gracious and welcoming. I only wish I would have started at DePaul when we first moved to Chicago; they have an awesome tuition waiver for staff and I could have received a free Master's degree. I am still so grateful that I was able to find such a wonderful place to work while Scott was in school; let me tell you, it's not easy being the "bread-winner".
Now to the unemployment part...Scott's FINALLY out of school so needless to say I'm not hurrying to find another job and we're only going to be in Cleveland for one year. Some thoughts I've had to keep me occupied for the next year: learn to crochet & sew, take up yoga or pilates, cook & bake again (Scott likes this one!), scan all prints to shutterfly so that I have a permanet record of the pictures, volunteer. Any other ideas?

Baby Boy Chenoweth Coming Soon

My friend, Brooke, and I hosted a baby shower for our friend Natalie and husband, Eric. They are expecting their first baby in July. They are such sweet friends and I'm so excited for them and their new addition. Natalie's from Australia, I want her accent!

**Sidenote: I think I now know about 7 or 8 people who are due in July and all are having boys! Strange how that happens.

The awesome diaper cake that my husband made. He's unexpectedly creative!

The shower was a huge success. Natalie wanted it to be low key, so that's exactly what it was. She was able to visit with old and new friends, we had an excellent brunch, opened some gifts, and of course had a lot of "baby" talk. I can't wait to meet the little guy!
